Tips on How To Shorten The Long Lines Inside of The Walt Disney World Parks

Whenever visiting Walt Disney World, the only problem people seem to have  is trying to save time in lines at the rides. Plenty of people have experienced massive wait lines, some havng to wait for 2 hours on the big rides. And maybe you've experienced long wait lines yourself. But in this article, I will reveal a few small tricks you can do to cut down the wait lines at Disney Parks.

So let's get started on those tips!

Tip #1) Learn how to use Fastpass effectively

The Fastpass service at Disney World is available to all Disney Guests. So try to use it to your advantage. A few things you can do to cut the wait lines, is to ride your favorite ride first thing when you enter the park. But before riding that ride, go and get the Fastpass service for that same attraction (or one that is near) so that in a few hours, you could ride that same ride again (or the ride next to it).

Another tip to use the Fastpass service effectively is to use it as much as you can. If you see a ride that has so much people in line and you were planning to ride it, go and get the Fastpass for it and go on it later.

Tip #2) Take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours

Extra Magic Hours is when one park opens up an hour early in the morning and stays open for an extra 3 hours at night. The Extra Magic Hours is the perfect time to take advantage of those rides. In the mornings, some of the attractions will be closed but usually it's the most famous rides that are opened, so that's the perfect time to ride all of your favorite attractions. There usually is little to no wait at all during these Extra hours. But also understand, Extra Magic Hours is only available to people who stay on Disney Property. You also need to bring your id and your Disney passes in order to show them that you are staying on Disney Property. So be aware.

Tip #3) Try to ride as much as you can in the morning

If you aren't able to take advantage of those Extra Magic Hours, then try to get in the parks the moment they open and try to ride as much as you can. Also try to get as much Fastpasses as you can and save them all for later. But you should also remember that your only allowed to get one Fastpass then, after two hours you could get another one.

Tip #4) Take advantage of the parades

What do I mean by that? Well, during the parades almost every single person tries to watch them. Thus, making this, the perfect time to ride your favorite attractions. So here's how it should go.

For example, if you want to ride Splash Mountain inside of the Magic Kingdom. There's a parade that goes on once a day right outside the exit of Splash Mountain. And you can watch the parade if you like, but when you start to see that the parade is about to end, go and run straight to the lines of Splash Mountain.

This is a tip that you can use inside of every park and every ride. When watching a parade, I also suggest that you don't pick a seat in the front row or anywhere in the back either. Somewhere in the middle of all the people woupd be fine. Don't go too far in front so atleast when you see the parade is coming to an end you leave farely easier without making a scene.

Tip #5) Decide a day before with your family on which rides you want to ride first.

It's kind of a good idea to talk to your family a day before and start looking at the maps of the parks and try to decide which rides you guys wanna ride. Sort of, set up a plan but don't over do it.

Tip #6) Just use your common sense

Sometimes just using your common sense can really help. Just look at the "wait times" sign in front of each ride and see if there's a chance you could ride it right then and there. If the wait time is about an hour and a half or more then just don't ride. Or better yet, if it's a ride that you really wanna go on, go and get the Fastpass for it. See, common sense!

*Last tip* Tip #7) Stay flexible and have fun

Above it all, just have fun and stay flexible. If you see an attraction you like that has a short wait time, gp and ride it. You won't be able to ride and do everything in one vacation. And when you come to accept that, you will have alot more fun. You could also write down a few things that you missed and try to get it done on your next Disney vacation.
